Who's Riding Pillion?

We have a helmet rule in Bangalore that says all two wheeler riders should wear a helmet while riding. This rule doesn't currently apply to the pillion riders though.

So who's a pillion rider? A person sitting at the back of the bike? Well, if this is the case, the person in the pictures below is clearly flouting the rule.

Captured at the busy Silkboard Junction today, you can clearly see the pillion rider wearing a helmet but not the person in the front.

Thanks for giving me this link on Metroblogs....I am deponti on LJ and write under my own name on Metblogs....I wish we could make the people who do these things see their own photographs and maybe THAT would make them realize that apart from breaking the rules, they are likely to break their children's heads as well...

@Deponti: Thanks for you comment. It's a sad state of affairs here with people with no respect for the law. Hope we have stricter traffic laws soon.

Your blog is nice. I think you should add your blog at BlogAdda and let more people discover your blog. It's a great place for Indian bloggers to be in and I am sure it would do wonders for your blog.
